Empower Serendib is a U.S. based charitable organization working in Sri Lanka, dedicated to advancing education, community development, and sustainable livelihoods in Sri Lanka. It was founded on the belief that local empowerment, inclusive leadership, and long-term vision can create lasting change. Through partnerships, community-led initiatives, and a deep commitment to social equity, we support under-resourced communities across Sri Lanka in building brighter, more resilient futures.

Board members play a key role in shaping our strategic direction, offering governance and oversight, and acting as ambassadors for our work. We meet quarterly and maintain active communication between meetings, as we believe in collaborative leadership and transparent decision-making.
